Colonel Seth Knazovich serves as the Chief of Staff for the 56th Artillery Command, United States Army Europe and Africa.

Following his commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer at the University of Kentucky in 1995, COL Knazovich has held various key leadership positions throughout his career, including in Vilseck and Bamberg, Germany, with the 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, followed by Fort Hood, TX, where he commanded two formations as a Fire Support Officer (FSO). Next, he served as a Task Force FSO and later Group FSO to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), deploying multiple times to Operation Enduring Freedom and the SOUTHCOM AOR.

After Command and General Staff College, he returned to Fort Bragg, NC, where he served under US Army Special Operations Command. He also served US Army Africa in Vicenza, Italy, as the Deputy Fire Support Coordinator and later as XO to the Commanding General. He would later return to Fort Hood to serve as a Battalion Commander.

He activated the 41st FA Brigade in Grafenwoehr, Germany, and most recently served with NATO at SHAPE HQ in Mons, Belgium, as the Geographic Operations Group Director and Executive Assistant to SACEUR/EUCOM Commander.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and a master's from Webster University.

His awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Combat Action Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.
