About Arcane Thunder

Arcane Thunder 25 is a 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force exercise with U.S. Army and
multinational partners in May 2025 in Utska, Poland; Mainz-Kastel, Germany; and Fort
Huachuca, Arizona. This exercise will integrate joint forces, Allies, and partner capabilities to strengthen our ability to defend U.S. homeland and the protect our Allies.

Lt. Gen. Gregory K. Anderson assumes command of the XVIII Airborne Corps from Lt. Gen. Christopher T. Donahue during a change of command ceremony at Fort Liberty, N.C., Jan. 6, 2024. Anderson, previously serving as the deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Forces Command, becomes the Corps’ 40th commanding general. The ceremony was officiated by Gen. Andrew P. Poppas, Commanding General of U.S. Forces Command.
