About Arcane Thunder

Arcane Thunder 25 is a 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force exercise with U.S. Army and
multinational partners in May 2025 in Utska, Poland; Mainz-Kastel, Germany; and Fort
Huachuca, Arizona. This exercise will integrate joint forces, Allies, and partner capabilities to strengthen our ability to defend U.S. homeland and the protect our Allies.

Competitors in the 2025 Maryland State Best Warrior Competition perform a variety of tasks during a combat-simulation mystery task lane at Aberdeen Proving Ground–Edgewood Area, Maryland, April 2, 2025. The Maryland National Guard's State Best Warrior Competition is a multi-day marathon of physical and mental challenges, designed to test the tactical skill, endurance, and professionalism of the state's top junior enlisted Soldiers, noncommissioned officers, and officers. Competitors face events ranging from land navigation and marksmanship to ruck marches and formal boards--all reflecting the Army's Warrior Ethos and commitment to excellence.
