About Arcane Thunder

Arcane Thunder 25 is a 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force exercise with U.S. Army and
multinational partners in May 2025 in Utska, Poland; Mainz-Kastel, Germany; and Fort
Huachuca, Arizona. This exercise will integrate joint forces, Allies, and partner capabilities to strengthen our ability to defend U.S. homeland and the protect our Allies.

U.S. Soldiers, from the 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade, and assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border, stand guard with a Stryker armored vehicle at the southern border at Santa Teresa, New Mexico, March 26, 2025. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force-Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and multi-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations. U.S. Northern Command is working together with Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
