Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Washington Air National Guard State Command Chief Change of Responsibility

The Washington Air National Guard conducted a change of responsibility ceremony for the State Command Chief on Sept. 7, 2024 at Camp Murray, WA. The change of responsibility was an event steeped with military tradition and served the function of rendered honors to the outgoing senior enlisted leader and provided official recognition of the transfer of responsibility to the incoming senior enlisted leader. The ceremony reinforced the noncommissioned officer’s authority in the Air Force and highlighted their support to the chain of command. Brig. Gen. Kenneth Borchers, Commander of the Washington Air National Guard, presided over the transfer of responsibly from outgoing Chief Master Sgt. Allan Lawson to incoming Chief Master Sgt. Stephen Nolan. Brig. Gen. Borchers presented Chief Master Sgt. Lawson with the Washington state Legion of Merit Medal for his time as the State Command Chief of the Washington Air National Guard.
