Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

40th Helicopter Squadron tests transport capability through multi-unit operation

Airmen of the 40th Helicopter Squadron work with the aircrew of a Dover Air Force Base C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft to load and transport a UH-1N Huey helicopter to Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, May 22, 2024. The Huey was loaded onto the C-5 at the Montana Air National Guard Base, and promptly flown to Offutt AFB. The Huey was unloaded upon arrival and flown around the immediate area. After 12 hours of crew rest, the helicopter was loaded back onto the C-5 and transported back to the MANG, where it was unloaded and flown back to Malmstrom Air Force Base.
