Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

AKARNG UH-72A Lakota helicopter training flight B-Roll

Alaska Army National Guardsmen assigned to the 207th Aviation Troop Command conduct a routine training flight in a UH-72A Lakota helicopter near the Bryan Army Airfield on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 1, 2024. The crew executed the flight in preparation for an upcoming deployment in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection as part of the federal Southwest Border Mission. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command and Joint Task Force North, the Alaska detachment will deploy two UH-72A Lakota helicopters along with aircrew, a maintenance team, and additional support personnel along the Southwest border.
