Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Lightning Strike 25: MWCS-38 Conducts Movement to Camp Pendleton

U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct a convoy from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton as part of Exercise Lightning Strike 25 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Oct. 22, 2024. The convoy transported communication equipment and marked the commencement of a weeklong exercise. Lightning Strike 25 exemplifies MWCS-38’s ability to establish and maintain up to 15 communication nodes supporting Force Design initiatives by enabling distributed command and control in contested environments.
