Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

PFC Philip Thibault, WWII Veteran Celebrates his 95th Birthday

Former U.S. Army Private First Class Philip John Thibault celebrates his 95th birthday while maintaining social distancing at the Elderwood in Burlington, VT. Vermont National Guard Adjutant General, U.S. Army Brigadier General Greg Knight, and additional members of the Vermont National Guard celebrated his birthday with a formation as they raised the U.S. flag outside his building. Thibault was born on May 3rd, 1925 and before serving in France and Germany during WWII, was a member of St. Albans' Company H, 172nd Infantry, Vermont Army National Guard. For his excellent service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and Paratrooper Wings.
