Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Task Force McCoy Soldiers Participate in Cold Weather Training

Task Force McCoy Soldiers conduct military operations during cold weather training as part of the Cold Weather Operations Course at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Jan. 13, 2022. Soldiers learned preventative measures for cold weather injuries, how to wear appropriate cold weather gear, pre-mission planning and maintaining proper nutrition and hydration. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
