Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Video uploaded for archival purposes. The 82nd Airborne Division Commander Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue and Command Sgt. Maj. David R. Pitt lay a wreath on the 82nd Airborne Division memorial located at the 82nd Airborne Division Museum, honoring the 24 Paratroopers who lost their lives 27 years ago during the disaster at Green Ramp, Pope Airforce Base, on 23 March 1994. This remains the largest peace-time military accident since WWII. We will never forget our fallen. Speaking as voice-over is archival footage of then-Lt. Col. Stanley McCrystal, one of two Battalion Commanders who had soldiers affected by the incident, speaking at a memorial shortly after the event in 1994.
