Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

U.S. Soldiers conduct joint training with CBP
DoD Southern Border 2025

U.S. Army Spc. Arnaldo Kai Soto-Winn, assigned to 977th Military Police Company and Spc. Zariah Jones assigned to 277th Maintenance Company, conducted joint training on the use of vehicle immobilization device training with Border Patrol agents in support of the southern border mission at Eagle Pass, Texas on March 21, 2025. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force – Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and multi-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
