Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19

Army Reserve Capt. Adam West, with Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force (UAMTF) 811-1, gives a shout-out to his loved ones in Riverton, Kan., while augmented to Stamford Health-Bennett Medical Center, Stamford, Conn., April 23, 2020. West and his team are assisting medical soldiers with the Connecticut Army National Guard and hospital staff in the efforts to increase the care capacity and treatment ability of COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients, alleviating civilian providers from having to manage lower priority patients. The UAMTF employs unique, expeditionary capabilities provided by U.S. Northern Command to support FEMA as part of a whole-of-nation response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
