Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

Second Annual ARC Athena hosted at Langley AFB
911th Airlift Wing
May 31, 2024 | 2:12
The second annual ARC Athena, held at Langley Air Force Base from April 29-30, 2024, brought together over 400 individuals, including military personnel, academics, and government officials, to address women's and family-centric issues within the Air Reserve Component (ARC). Led jointly by the United States Air Force Reserve Command and Air National Guard, the event emphasized collaboration and innovation, drawing attention to nine unique challenges faced by today's Citizen Airmen. With an increased turnout from the Air National Guard, ARC Athena featured presentations, panel discussions, and keynote speakers highlighting policy changes and ongoing challenges in areas such as childcare, maternal fitness, and countering sexual assault. The event underscored the importance of grassroots efforts and persistence in advocating for change, echoing the sentiment that continuous dialogue and collaboration are essential for driving innovation and improving support for Airmen and their families. As ARC Athena and similar events continue to shape the future of the Air Reserve Component, they reaffirm the commitment to readiness and defense in an ever-evolving world.
