Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

March 21, 2022 | 0:30
Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, march in the early morning hours towards St Patrick’s Cathedral to attend a special St Patrick’s Day mass service which honors the regiments fallen and honors its Irish heritage prior to the annual NYC St Patrick’s Day parade on March 17, 2022. The 69th Infantry started the day, full of tradition, at 6 a.m. with a whiskey toast and then to the parade, after the cathedral service, where city officials estimated more than 2 million showed up to watch which has been held every year since 1762, with the 69th leading it since 1851.
