Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

5-7 Cav Assumption of Authority Ceremony

U.S. Soldiers assigned to 5th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, participate in the 5-7 Cav assumption of authority ceremony at Camp Reedo, Estonia, Feb. 10, 2025. 5-7 Cav is the first armored brigade combat team to be rotated to Estonia and the the authority of Task Force War Paint was presented to Ltc. Michael Hefti and Command Sgt. Maj. Jose Padilla. V Corps strives to remain a lethal ally with NATO partners by modernizing warfighting capabilities such as training with the M2A4 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, the newest edition making 5-7 Cav the first unit U.S. Army wide to be fielded these vehicles, as well as establishing and maintaining partnerships to assist with strengthening NATO's eastern flank and deter adversaries.
