Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

NY Army National Guard Field Artillery personnel honored at annual St. Barbara's Ball

Soldiers from the New York Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery Regiment and guests sing the US Army Song at the 2023 St. Barbara's Ball that the battalion hosted Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Sanctuary Roosevelt Island in New York City.

The battalion presented the Honorable Order of St. Barbara to Capt. Paola A. Dossa, Capt. Josef Danczuk, Capt. Patrick Millerick, Capt. Zachary Rowland, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Brandon Willit, Sgt. 1st Class Geriff Polanco, Sgt. 1st Class Thomas Duckett, Sgt. 1st Class Bruce Barclay, Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Messing, Sgt. 1st Class Harry Lambright and Staff Sgt. Joseph DeShaw. The award recognizes those who demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, professional competence, selflessness, and promotion of field artillery.

The St. Barbara Ball is a tradition recognized by a formal celebration and presentation of awards honoring St. Barbara, the patron saint of artillery personnel. (U.S. Army video by Mark Getman)
