Dynamic Front

The next iteration of exercise Dynamic Front takes place from Nov. 4-24, 2024 in Finland, Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Romania. It demonstrates NATO’s ability to share fire missions, target information, and operational graphics from the Arctic to the Black Sea.
The exercise increases the lethality of the Alliance through long-distance fires, builds unit readiness in a complex joint, multi-national environment, and leverages host nation capabilities to increase USARUER-AF’s operational reach. Dynamic Front is planned to include more than 1,800 U.S. and 3,700 multi-national service members from 28 Allied and partner nations.

1st Armored Division Conducts Battle Drill Three and Seven (B-Roll)

U.S. Soldiers with 4th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, conduct battle drill three and seven at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, Feb. 25-26, 2025. 1st Armored Division, a rotational force supporting V Corps, conducted training in the European Theatre to maintain readiness and instill fundamental Soldier skills that are vital in maintaining lethality. Battle drill seven is focused on entering and clearing trenches and bunkers, while battle drill three focuses on breaking contact with the enemy. Rehearsing battle drills allows units to execute specific movements on the battlefield quickly and quietly with no need for prior planning. (U.S. Army video by Spc. Kyle Kimble)
